Dr. Andrew McDaid
Lead Researcher
Andrew McDaid is an Associate Professor at The University of Auckland. He gained a BE with First Class Honours and PhD from the University of Auckland in 2008 and 2012 respectively. Andrew has published more than 60 research papers and has written three provisional patents. He is a multidisciplinary researcher with expertise in mechatronics engineering, smart materials, control systems and clinical research. His main research interests are developing intelligent medical robotics devices for people who have suffered injury, stroke or have disabilities. Click here to view his ORCiD profile.
